Welcome to Coastal Phenomena
Hey there. Name’s Frank Lanier, local electrician (but not here to advertise my business) and amateur anomaly hunter. I’ve lived about 30 minutes inland from Myrtle Beach all my life, and let me tell you—this place isn’t just about sunburns and golf courses. There’s something else under the surface. Always has been.
Folks around here talk. Lights in the woods. Radios that pick up voices with no transmitter. That weird military truck convoy that rolled through Conway back in '99? Never made the news. I built this site because I’m tired of whispering. If you’ve seen something strange in Horry County or anywhere along the Waccamaw, I want to hear it.
This is a place to gather stories, track patterns, and maybe—just maybe—understand what’s really going on around here.
I also lurk on a few other places like HauntedHovel.com, Ghost-Mysteries, and that old message board linked off Coast to Coast AM's homepage. This site pulls what I find and filters it through a local lens. Not everything's fake just because it's on the internet.
